Getting Rid of...

i have a couple programs that i removed using Add or Remove Programs, but they still come on at startup. so i was wondering if there is some magical, hidden thing in windows to REALLY get rid of these things, or, do i need to download Search and distroy- it said you can get rid of "useless programs at start-up".

Add or Remove program isn't uninstalling everything so it good to go to derectory here program was and delete if some parts are there. and install Search and destroy and ad-aware they will help to remove lots of junk.
