I have spent the last two days trying to get rid of spyware, the SAH agent, bargain, winadtools, etc. and I have followed the recommendations of the site, and my computer still tries to access the internet when I am not even using it. I reboot it after all programs say it is clean, and 1 hour later, I have at least 250 problem files on my system, windows are popping up without a browser even open, and a list of programs are added to my system, such as elite side bar, bargains, optomize, winadtools, and the list keeps growing.

I am putting the hijackthis log below this and would appreciate any and all help to get rid of this problem. It gets to the point where I can't even open up a browser window because it freezes up. Thanks in advance:

I saw this surface on a computer yesterday, only reason I saw it was due to the failed registry import of the key required to start it. Navigate to C:\windows\system32 and look for a 'gotem' folder. That is the folder that you will need to remove. What I did to deal with it is reboot in safe mode, verify that the registry did infact -not- get written to, and killed the folder then rebooted. I tried to peek at the sound32.exe in the gotem folder, but it's UPX packed so I'm still working on exactly what else it does that's not immediately visible. Avast A/V will find sound32.exe in said folder as a trojan, if that helps any. As soon as I find a copy of it, and install it on a test box, pull out windiff with images and gather more information, I'll be happy to share it with the group.
