Hello,

Basically this is the script:

I have been having trouble shutting my laptop down, it fails to Ctrl-Alt-Del and run various programmes like Photoshop CS and eBay's Turbo Lister.

I am a work-from-home Mum and could really do with some help reintalling Windows XP pro. The manufactuers did not supply a windows xp disc, only a recovery cd (something about licencing) with 2 options Complete Reinstall, Expert Reinstall. I really do not want to lose any information as you can imagine, and understand that to save my info I have to partition my HD via the Expert option, but do not know about sizes. :tazz:

The laptop is 4 months old and there isn't that much info on it, I have taken off PS.CS and Turbo Lister, I have also virus, spyware and tojan checked and removed any problems.

Is there anyone available to help talk me through this process?

I have been onto Toshiba, but its one of those international call centres and they say it will take 2 weeks to repair - all it needs is a reinstall, nothing else.

Help!!! ;)
