I am attempting to download a photo from the Net. Each time I click on the photo I receive the same message
Waol has caused an error in jgdw400.dll. I tried calling aol support and no one there had a clue so I surfed the web and discovered the file is related to viewing photographs in "*.art" format. The file is also related somehow to Internet Explorer.
So where do I go from here.
Thanks,
Yolanda Rotondo
P.S. I wrote a previous message regarding a form of spyware installed on my computer that causes a snatch of music to play when I go to certain sites or hit certain keys on my keyboard. No one responded to my message because I must've sounded as tho I believe my computer is talking to me. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I correct it.

ok for the malware in the second part of your post--Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

for the first part, AOL likes to take over .art files are the image files that aol uses to be honest there are a realy bad format that nothing supports, i am unware how to fix your problem as it is part of AOL so i realy cant help you, but i personally suggest you never use .art files.

could you just re-install AOL and then try that page see if that helps.
Are you using the latest version of AOL.
How do you connect to AOL (Main Client or AOL dialler).
