can't access excite.com email

I messed up my Internet Explorer, I guess, I couldn't log into hotmail or excite.com. I could log into yahoo and read mail but not reply or delete anything. I checked my security levels and whether or not cookies were enabled, javascript, etc. but no luck. I switched to Mozilla Foxfire as brower but still get this message when I try to use Excite:

"The browser you're using is not allowing you to sign in to Excite.
Right now, your browser's settings are configured to disable cookies and/or javascript. In order to access your account, you must change your browser's settings to accept both cookies AND javascript."

I don't know what else to do. Any advice?
