When i first looked online for RAM on my computer i saw RAM that said it was High Density. I figured this was just a marketing thing, and not really any diffrent from regular RAM. Although when i reserched it online it is diffrent. From what i understand, it will cram more data through a specific path. The RAM is usually a generic brand but what confused me is i don't know if my motherboard can handle it.

Is there a way i can find out ? I have looked on my user manual from ABIT and it said nothing about it but how i can only put so much RAM in each slot, 1GB/slot.

My motherboard is a ABIT NF-7 S v2.0

Hi. You can go to www.crucial.com and use their memory advisory tool. It will display compatible RAM for your motherboard.

Crucial has high density ? The only big name brand that i know of that has high density ram is Kingston. WHich i really don't need. I don't need any fancy RAM and if i could get it cheap it would be nice :whistling: ! I'm not running a server so i really don't need a name brand, Generic is fine for me.

Crucials memory compatibilty tool will tell you what you can put in your system you dont have to actaully buy it from them, i wouldnt get generic but the value ranges from the big names are just as cheap and you get the advantage of guaranteed quality.
