Some how Microsoft Paint has completly disappeared, I've searched my whole C drive and it has just vanished.
I've quizzed all my family and they say they havent purposely uninstalled it (if that can even be done) and havent even used Paint recently.
I'm really confused, it was there the other day now its gone! Not sure how long its been missing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I hope I'm not making a fool of myself!
Thanks
Jade

Is it the program, or the shortcut?

Look here for shortcut
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint

Look here for program

c:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe

Are they both gone?

download the attached zip and uncompress to a temp location

Drop mspaint.exe in c:\windows\system32

drop the other two into c:\windows\help

Recreate the shortcut by right clicking the mspaint.exe file in c:\windows\system32 and dragging it into the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories, then release the mouse button and choose CREATE SHORTCUT
