I've found my way to your forum via my wireless network (home). But according to my laptop (XP) this is impossible.

It (almost) always says "Wireless connection unavailable".

I say almost because if I trick it (disable and then enable the wireless card) it momentarily shows the network I AM connected to. But then quickly goes back to "unavailable".

This is just a nuisance as it hasn't slowed me down.

But there's got to be a way to fix this?

XP. Service Pack 1.

Thanks,

Greg.

Try upgrade to Service Pack 2, to see if it helps the problem. Hope that this helps.

Yeah, SP2 has much more powerful wireless networking capabilities. Also, if you could list the security settings for your router:

Are you using WEP/WPA, are you broadcasting your SSID, are you using MAC filtering, etc?
