I have begun to have a problem with Spybot Search & Destroy. It suddenly quit allowing changes to the registry when I tried to load new programs. The button that said to allow registry change looked like it was almost scribbled out and any attempted change was met with the dialoge box saying that the registry change had been denied. This is happening even when supposedly the host file is not locked and teatimer is off. Does this mean I've got something in the registry that is protecting itself by locking the registry? What's going on?

Is there where you can't see the buttons on the bottom (cutoff)? If so, it's just a bug in Spybot. The allow button is in the left from what I remember. So click that to allow changes or click on the right button to deny them.
