If you're still having issues after running the winsockxp fix, then, first of all, try downloading and installing this Microsoft Patch:
http://www.microsoft...&DisplayLang=en
After you install it, reboot your computer. If this doesn't solve your problem, then it may be that the 'Media Sense' feature is causing you issues. To learn more about Media Sense, and how to disable Media Sense, visit this website:

If you're still having problems, then you may wish to look at your hardware.

I am having the same problem with my laptop. I have 3 computers in the house and 2 (including my laptop) are running off the wireless router. The other computer thats working off the wireless router has a good connection and has no problem. My laptop on the other hand has "limited or no connectivity" and has a yeallow triangle with a ! in the middle in the system tray. I have experienced this about 3 times in the past but all those times it hapeened late at night before i went to bed so it was no problem. i just woke up the next day and when i went on it was fine again. this time though it has lasted about a day and a half and is still there. I have noticed that some people have said to download the microsoft patch or use winsock but i was wondering how do i use it if my internet is down on my laptop? Please replay because i want to get rid of the problem
