trojan low?

What OS do you have?
What did you use to find this virus in the first place?
Is the name of the virus"trojan low" as indicated in your topic name?
After you installed Norton 2006 were you able to do scan?If so was it from in the admin account? Try running it from Safemode.Tap F8 when computer starts and choose Safemode and log into Admin there and run it.
Might want to try some of these free scans available .

It might not be letting you install or use some scans as it is built into the virus itself to disable them.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.
Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
