Hello all, forgive my lack of computer knowledge, but I have a question..We are getting a new computer in the next few days (dell). We currently have Comcast. My question is, do I just take off the old computer and hook up the new or is there something I have to get programmed? Do I need to let Comcast know I got a new computer..It's not going to be a second computer, we're just swapping out. Thanks for any help!

if you're just swapping out you should just have to plug everything in and you should be on your way...at the most you'd have to run the comcast setup utility...but that shouldn't be neccessary either....you MAY need to "bounce" the modem (turn off the modem for about a m inute....then turn it back on...then turn on the computer)
