All of a sudden our daughter pc is not registering that a mouse or keyboard is attached, we changed and checked on our pc, but they work fine, they light up at first on her pc then die, this happens with any mouse or keyboard co
nnected to it, its all comin up fine , is it the motherboard, what can we do? Thanks so much im a newbie

are these all PS/2 mice and keyboards or are some USB or all USB? or what?

Can you hook em up through the usb port? And if not, you might want to try a usb mouse/kb and see if it responds. If it does Id would assume that the ps2 ports are bad, dont have a connection, etc. Could you post some system specs?
