I'm getting a windows system error every time I have both the lap top and the desk top open.

"There s an IP address conflict with another system on the network"

The desktop is hard wired to the router (Linksys wireless-g), and the laptop is wireless.

Any thoughts?

Thanks :whistling:

I have experienced this error once before... I don't know if this helps your current situation but in case it does I will describe it anyway:

Basically my laptop was connected to a network via an ethernet cable and there was a conflict because my computer was using the 10.1.1 set of addresses but for some reason other computers on the network were using the 192.168.0 set of addresses...
