did u disable the firewall on the other pc you are trying to connect to?

Yes, I disabled all firewalls on both computers and still no luck.

I think that you are on the right track. I realized that I had another firewall enabled on my desktop that I had forgotten about. It was installed in tha background with norton internet security. I think that has me fixed. Thank you for your persistance!!

I will post up any updates later. I have a little more work cut out for myself.
