users whose computers do not meet the hardware requirements imposed by Vista or have purchased Vista Basic won’t benefit from Aero.

As part of the efforts to stop the piracy from ruining the software producers’ incomes, Microsoft will check every time if it deals with a genuine version. If the copy is pirated, Vista will not install Aero on the computer.

Bad news for pirates :whistling:

Not really thats just a stereotype its not actualy true, most of the best hacking/cracking groups are European or US maybe they have asian people in them but they arent based out of asia, and if you actually thought about it its rather implausible generalisation China has VERY VERY strict computer laws and internet usage laws even if they cracked it it would be difficult to get it out and other communist/socialist nations in the region are the same.

But the fact is that piracy in Chian is very pervasive. It seems none of a software can escape from
the destiny By the way i am from China

Reguardless where or who pirates them, its still illegal. Just because u find china selling pirates on the street of hong kong doesn't mean they come up with it. Usually people in the western world that have the money to purchase pc that does the pirates.

You know technically you could use the asian designation as you are from Australasia. But i think its time to calm this topic down a bit.

I totally agreed, like anything else in the world there alway a good and a bad. For example, when the first camcorder came out or the vcr already some people with bad intention start using that to make copy of movies. So, it up to mr. bill gate and his team to keep 10 steps ahead of the criminal.

Peace out :whistling:

This thread has strayed from its subject, and I don't like the implication that software piracy is Asian led, so I'm closing this topic before it gets any more ridiculous.
