rubbing noise coming from computer

My computer has started making a rubbing noise.It has done it before,but this time it has not stopped.The computer is about one year old, The hard drive went bad the first week I had it, Gateway replaced it.The computer is Media Edition 2005 with service pack2.I did not added any thing to the computer when it started making noise. Thanks Mike

Check for any wires rubbing on fans...
