when i right click on my wallpaper desktop (so i can change wallpaper or screensaver) it stays on busy icon for 10 seconds and it shows up

how can i fix this...thanks

regedit
<enter>

navigate to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

what subfolders do you see?
