I imported a video from my dvr. its about 1.29 GIG but when I try to burn it to dvd using Roxio's Easy CD & DVD Creator (DVD Builder) it says the file for dvd is 5.61 gig, bigger than the allowable 4.7 on a 1 sided dvd.

How do I make it fit? Rerecording or is there a nifty program that can make it fit before I uses dvd builder?

Thank you

EDIT: The video is about 1 hour 45 min long

Check the output quality options in DVD Builder

Load it in to videowave and see if you can use the medium setting to reduce the file size

Roxio creates larger files than Nero
