Hi there,

I'm an IT Genralist but have inherited a 30 user windows 2000 server network at work. I'm getting my head around most of what's going on but I was wondering if somebody could help me with the followin:

How do I switch ports (i.e. Telnet) on and off.
How can I install or configure the Windows server to act as a proxy server, or is this not a good idea? We have a 2meg ADSL connection which our computers access through a Router.

If anybody can help me with this I'd be eternally grateful.

Many thanks guys,

Gimbo
