I want to get an ethernet card for my old IBM ThinkPad 760ED so i can connect to my DSL...umm...i dont kno what one to get (if it matters) and i dont know how to install it...any help?

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Does your system have a PCMCIA card slot (it should as my old ThinkPad 770 does)..

You will need to purchase a PCMCIA ethernet adapter - some come with the CAT5 adapter already installed and others require a doogle (will come with the card)..

Plug it into the slot and install the drivers..

That's all there is to it!!
