Hi, would appreciate help with continious hijack probs. Have gone through all spywear/virus removal steps in new user guide. Keep being asked to get rid of folder c\prog file\ISTsvc but whenever try to delete it comes up 'file in use' even if nothing else is open. When I do manage to remove it, as soon as I re-connect to internet it comes back again!
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Please set your system to show all files; Click here for how to do this if you're unsure.

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Using Windows Add Remove Program Files: Please uninstall the following Program.
C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe
C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe

Press Control-Alt-Del to enter the Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab and end the following processes:

C:\WINDOWS\switpb.exe
C:\WINDOWS\fbtfgab.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Grazyu.exe
C:\Program Files\WebSpecials\webspec.dll

Exit the Task Manager when finished

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items.[/b]

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: see here if you don't know how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Grazyu.exe<--Delete this file

C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe<--Delete the whole folder

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

The following is a recommended fix: Please update HijackThis v 1.99.1

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :thumbsup:

I use this Program and is setup like this all boxs are checked.

Clean out all temp files in Mozilla, Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer: Tools/ Internet Options/ General/ Temporary internet files/ Delete Files (NOTE, that this may take very long!). You can also set the memory limit to about 80 MB at the Settings.

Mozilla: Edit/ Options/ Extended/ Cache/ Clear Cache

Turn of system restore
Disabling or enabling Windows XP System Restore

Defrag your hard drive turn system retore back on and create a new restore point.

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN :tazz:

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use). Click Here

Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
