appliction has failed to start

The application has failed to start because actlib.dll was not found. reistalling the application
may fix this problem. I have another adllmdll.dll with same text also i have error with my itune. i have done few system restore but it didn't help,is there any other way to fix this? thanks

do you or did you have any macromedia software installed (dreamweaver, fireworks, etc...)? that's what the first dll looks like it's related to

the otherone...i get no info on whatsoever..

as far as the issues with quicktime....wouldn't you think that giving us the actual error you get help a little more than "i get an error with quick time"? that's sort of me telling you "i have a problem with my truck...can you fix it?"

Hi Dsenette, you are right, i forgot to say; i have dream weaver 8 which is first one and the other is
autocad 2006 which i can't open, does this help?

uninstall and reinstall both programs see if that fixes it (also...are these legitimate coppies of both software? or did you get them from somewhere else?i.e. p2p or something like that)

I don't have it in cd's to reinstall them and it is not legitimate and microsoft resolution
was to run sp2 cd and it will repair it, which i haven't got that cd either,i can order it
but i have to wait up to 8 weeks.
