Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines

Hi
When I play bloodlines I go to the menu and click load game, then the game exits and I get this error:

'Engine Error
Compression error reading from disk.'

What does that mean?

it means its trying to read data from the cd or the hard drive and failed. If its a cd then its possible a scratched cd. If its the hdd then you may have encountered some corruption.

Please let us know if it requires the cd to play the game.
