Did you set a virtual memory size?

If so, reset it to let windows handle it.

If you did not set a size, then you may be running out of harddrive space. Clear out old files, uninstall old programs, archive older ddata

Hey,

What I did at first was went to Vitual memory settings and set it to "system managed size" (it was at custom before) is that correct?

Can't be out of hard drive space, I have 73 GB left of free space.

yes, system managed size is correct....then reboot.

After reboot, you are still getting errors.

Did your error message say that "Windows is resizing your page file"

If that is the case, then you likely need more memory--hwo much do you have? And what are you doing when the error kicks up?

Yep I did reboot and I think i got it once. I didnt get the error you said, was "low virtual ... " Maybe i was doing so many things at once. I was browsing the net (multi. browsers) and running office 2003 updates and opening some folders, nothing much, but it hasnt happened again. I have 1GB of memory.

Let me monitor it some more and if the error comes up again, will let you know.

Thanks for all the help

Sorry, should have said I am a different person with a similar problem. I have increased my memory settings to see if that helps.
