Hi everyone,
I am having an issue with the installation software that comes with Windows. I cannot get it to install any kind of program anymore. I try to install minor things or something like Acrobat Reader. The little window pops up with "Windows Installer" and says "Preparing to Install..." After about a minute it has an error message that says "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance." I've tried using all the Windows help I could find, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how I can fix it??? :whistling:
