hi all, sry to bother u but ive been having trouble with my ping on online games. i have a 2MB ADSL connection from telewest and the problem is that i have very high pings even with english servers. i tried a few internet diagnostic tools online and they all said that my pc isnt set up for a high speed conection. is there any way of fixing this problem without downloading software for 50 quid?
cheers, Merde

EDIT:

Software isnt going to fix your ping times at all... Some software can make your true download test speed a little faster but the upload wont get any better hardly either..

Try hooking the modem directly to your gaming pc and see if the pings are any lower..
