Hi
I have just upgraded my PC to accomodate a new CPU, Mobo and Graphics board. Problem is that my secondary HD which was Drive F is now Drive D and being reported as 7.75 GB instead of 75 GB. I have tried repartitioning but it will not hold the partition information and when formatting comes back with format failed. It was fine until I upgraded. It is an IBM Deskstar about 2 years old and is recognised correctly by the BIOS. Any help appreciated.

Welcome Ian <_<

After the upgrade did you reinstall your operating system (Windows)?

If not, a repair installation should take of it. See this guide:
