Okay, I have a new internet wallpaper on my desktop, but now all of the icons on the desktop have a really bad looking border around the icon description in white. It looks rediculous and I don't know how to make the border clear so you just see the words on top of the wallpaper... without a colored border.

Can anyone help?

Running Windows 2000, SP4

Hello:

Sounds like you need to toggle your Active Desktop.

Right Click on desktop.
Click the Web tab.
Check or uncheck "Show Web Content On My Active Desktop".

Hope this helps.

Oh, by the way....no question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer.

I right clicked and there was no web tab... I was able to go to 'active desktop'
and check/uncheck ' show web content. All that did when unchecked is remove my internet explorer wall paper. When I switched to a default wall paper on the system you could still see whatever color I had selected for desktop.

Any other ideas? Anyone?

Sorry:

I did more research on your problem and came up with nothing. You may just have one of those unexplainable glitches I guess.

I hope someone is able to help you.
