i have just started to learn vb and i need the program that let's you actually write the codes and etc
and vb compiler...
where do i get them?

Well I personally like Visual Basic 6 but since you can't get that anymore(legally), then I'll link you to Microsoft's Visual Basic 2005 .NET 90 day trial.

you could also try the express editions if you're only learning VB (I've recently used the C# one)
