I live in St. Cloud ,Fl. where we have free city wide WiFi internet access.
I have 2 desktops and 1 laptop and Linksys 11b router and 11b card for laptop.
The city has signal boxes located on street light poles through out the city,
the closest to my house is about 600-800 feet.
The city provides a "bridge" they call it for around $168.00.
I'm tring to find another (less inexpensive) to extend my range and reach the signal.
Right now I can get a weak in & out signal on my laptop upstairs.

Any suggestions would be great! (even if it's "just buy the city one cheapskate"!!) :whistling:

you'd need to get a signal booster or the city's suggested bridge...or another bridge not neccessarily theirs.
