Hello, I am running an open source project (check this if you want), basically a KDE menu port on Windows, something that a Start hater (like me) should like. However, some users, especially Win98 users (I have WinXP and it runs well) face an 'ActiveX error'.

Precisely, Error: 429, Could not create ActiveX object.

I know exactly what causes the error: it is the Microsoft CommonDialog component used in one of my forms, but I don't know how to fix it.

I can't simply remove that component, because it is crucial to the application. May be it is because the .ocx file is out dated on Win98s, but I really don't know. :whistling:
