I continually suffer from "freeze-up" when I am playing music on Windows Media Player (version 10). I have ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 card, and I am wondering if the two aren't mixing. Maybe it is unrelated. Either way, I'd be greatful for your suggestions on how to fix this. :tazz:

Hello:

Windows Media Player will offer no resistence to your 9600 card. You might try reinstalling the software first.

Do the freeze times appear to be random or do they come under very specific cicumstances?

It occurs randomly when I am playing music on Windows Media Player. Sometimes 5 minutes after playing music, and sometimes 60 minutes later.

Are you suggesting that I reinstall Windows Media Player 10?
