Hey, I'm really sorry to bother you guys, but I need some help. I recently put together a system with parts bought from eBay

AMD Athlon 64 +3000 Socket 754 "Vienna" Processor (ADA3000AIK4BX)
(Part of Motherboard Combo below)
MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R (MS-7602)
http://www.msicomput...-FIS2R&class=mb
http://cgi.ebay.com/.....AMEWN:IT&rd=1
1GB PC3200 DIMM 400 FSB High Density DDR RAM (184-pin)
http://cgi.ebay.com/.....AMEWN:IT&rd=1
Chaintech FX5200 128 MB AGP Video Card
http://www.chaintech...c.asp?PISNo=300
(Part of MSI Motherboard Combo)
Compaq/Quantam 20.0GB SMART III Ultra ATA/100 IDE HD
Compaq IDE CD-ROM (40x)
Compaq IDE CD-RW (4x write/rewrite and 32x read)
Compaq1.44MB, 3.5-inch floppy disk drive
(All 3 from my old Compaq Presario 5BW160 - http://h20141.www2.h...GSQAC3N558Q4T17 and then put '5BW160' for the model number and click view all parts)
Broadway Com Corp (BCC) Series-712 Black Case w/ an Okia 500W Switching Power Supply

http://cgi.ebay.com/.....AMEWN:IT&rd=1

So I put everything together and everything seems to work, except I can't do anything. The sytem boots up without any beeps and the MSI "corecell" logo pops up. An then a "American MegaTrends" BIOS appears and the system continues booting until it says something like, "Scan disks, no disk detected" and that disappears and I'm left with a blinking cursor in the upper left corner. So I have no idea what to do. In the BIOS it "says" it detects my hard drive, CD-ROM and floppy disk... I don't have my CD-RW connected because I'm not sure how to connect that as a slave drive. I've tried putting in a windows setup disks and the MSI disk, but nothing boots. I think my hard drive has something jumpered but I'm really not sure. Perhaps I have to configure the older hard drive or cd-rom?

I'm really sorry for the long post, but I wanted to explain everything. I'm am so confused and I really appreciate any help!

First, the damage has been done but I'm just against getting electronics off of eBay. Too much of a hit or miss for such delicate hardware.

Second, in that picture it looks like there are two jumpers...shouldn't there only be one? Or is it just too late for me and I'm seeing things?

The without beeps parts means everything is connected right (I'm pretty sure) but not quite sure what could be causing the BIOS trouble.

Heh, yeah I did take a risk. But I think I figured out the problem..there was no OS and none my CD's (that I burned) were actually bootable. So I found this Ubuntu disk I ordered a long time ago and installed that and everything works amazing.Lol, I used to have a 700 Mhz, 128Mb system....so the differnce is amazing. Thanks for the reply.
