My computer recently started behaving unexpectedly. It started restarting unexpectedly when application is running. But now nothing appears on the monitor when the computer is booted. I have checked the monitor it is OK. The power supply is supplying power but nothing appears on the monitor.

I would be grateful if someone could help me with this.

Can you switch the PC off, switch the monitor off, remove the plug, leave it a minute, replace the plug, switch the monitor on so it has the standby light, start the PC and keep tapping F8 until you get options, choose safe mode
