Repair in place and still have problems

I have used the windows XP repair tool and still have some issues. I don't know if this is relevant but I have run HiJackThis and my log appears below:

Hi toferrall,

Are you just getting general crashes? If so it would be worth having a look at the error logs and see if its's a particular process what's crashing, do you get any error messages?
