I recently added a second PC (desktop) to my wireless connection (WEP encrypted). The original PC (laptop), now will not connect to wireless network. Using correct network key, sees signal, but not connecting wirelessly.

Equipment using: Linksys cablemodem, router. Laptop has a Broadcom wireless card built in.

After numerous attempts with both Linksys and HP support, still cannot link. Does anyone have any advice?

If you need additional information, please let me know.

Thanks

Just wanted to let you know after perusing this site, I found some advice that I tried...and it WORKED!! (I now can surf wirelessly again)

Thanks SpaceCowBoy706, your 13 step process of recycling the modem and router, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers worked!!

Much appreciated.

Keep up the great work to all on this site.

Regards,

Michael
