hi guys. needing a bit of help with seting up my system i just got a Intel Celeron D 330J 2.66Ghz Socket 775 FSB533 256kb Cache Retail Boxed CPU to fit in my new Asus Vintage-PE1 Intel LGA775 Prescott P4 Barebone

now when i want to start the computer up i get a black screen saying intel cpu ucode loading error press f1
i hit f1 and didnt have any luck with it
now i dont no what this is or how to fix it im new at this,

so any help would be grateful.

Hi there

Try updating the bios. If you go to Asus's website, locate your system & find bios updates, you'll notice there are 3 of them. One is the first release which your system is probably using now. Theres also a beta release. Assuming that you currently have the first release, then I suggest update to the 0305 version. If that doesn't do the trick, then try the beta release afterwards.
