I first started a thread in HJT forum, but I do not think this has anything to do with virus, malware or anything like that.

I had Zone Alarm on laptop, but it kept messing up some other programs, so I uninstalled it, and now no matter what browser I use, they will not load any webpages, and my email will not work.

I tried doing a repair of windows XP via CD last nite to no avail.

Does anyone here know how to fix this, or where should I go for help?

Or - do I have to do the dirty deed of reformating entire drive? (YUCK!)

Please help me if you can.
