HP can make parts that stand the test of time, but it seems when it comes to recovery CDs, they never seem to work.


All is not lost. We can recover your data. There are plenty of ways to do that, if it ever comes to that. But I'm counting on that XP Media Center CD's repair function to repair your computer, WITHOUT the loss of data. :blink:

When you get the CD, you can do the repair by following these directions:

However, if you don't have anything important to lose, and just wanna do a full reinstall so everything is like brand new, then you can reinstall windows by following these instructions:
