Click on the "Advanced" tab and click on "Settings" in the "Startup and Recovery" section. Click the "Edit" button. There should be a line that starts with mult(0) and ends with Setup (or has setup in it)

Is that line there?

:whistling:

Try the System Restore tab and see if it will run a System Restore. I'm not going to hold my breath, though.

Yeah...I thought of that, but I think at this point, it might behoove us to see it we can find the device that's giving you the grief and disable the driver.

Go back to the Performance tab, under Startup and Recovery, and untick the box to "Automatically restart"...Apply the change.

Let setup run again...when it hangs, it should generate an error code which will include a file name. We'll need that file name.

Press Shift + F10 for command Prompt.

At the Prompt, type %windir% and press "Enter".

Look for a file named Pnplog.txt Is it there?
