Ok heres the deal, I got norton corporate edition from a friend, installed it worked great until the last time I ran liveupdate. This is what it does, when the scan starts a dialog box appears showing all the files that its scanning, after it runs for about a minute or so 10000 files, the dialog box disappears and the norton utility cannot be opened (probably cuz its still trying to run the scan). No errors or anything appears, it just stops, it doesnt slow my rig down at all but I restart it usually because I know its not running right. When I look in the scan history it shows the amount of files scanned on what drive, and it always says the scan was aborted after that 10000 files. Any ideas, havent tried the re-install route or anything, I was wondering if there was a way to repair it first. Thanx for the help,
-P.
