I need help...
Tabs keep popping up into my firefox exp. and I can't enter my firewall for some reason. I didn't do anything to it but when I realized i was getting these pop ups i thought the firewall was off. So when I try to get in it won't let me.
Here is my hijack.

Hello..Ok, you have a lot of spyware!....Please do the following:

Welcome,
Please follow the instructions provided, you may want to print out these instructions and use them as a reference.

Please download ewido anti-malware it is a free version of the program.
  • Install ewido anti-malware
  • When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck..
    • Install background guard
    • Install scan via context menu

  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop, double-click it.
  • The program will now open to the main screen.
  • When you run ewido for the first time, you may get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK. We will fix this in a moment.

  • You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
    • On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
    • Then click on Start Update.

  • The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
(the status bar at the bottom will display ("Update successful")
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
ewido manual updates

Once the updates are installed do the following:
    Reboot computer in safe mode.

    Start up ewido..

  • Click on scanner
  • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
  • You will be prompted to clean the first infection.
  • Select "Perform action on all infections", then proceed.
  • Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report.
  • Save the report .txt file to your desktop or a location where you can find it easily.
Close ewido anti-malware.

Restart your computer back into normal mode...

Post the ewido log. If the log is VERY long...please attach the log file to this post, thanks !..

what if it doesnt say that ??

also what do you do if you have problems getting your computer into safe mode because i have tried before and the only time i can do it is when my computer is really messed up.

Well, it is good if it doesn't give you that error message. Just go along with the instructions...and why are you having trouble going into safe mode? When you restart your computer just keep tapping F8 till you get a screen to select safe mode..

You are currently using Windows XP SP1...Please download Windows XP SP2 .... Open up Internet Explorer and go to tools-windows update ... if it asks you to download something and install something to update windows update..do it...then when you are able to scan for updates, do a custom scan, and windows xp sp2 should be something to download..only have that in 'review and install updates' and download and install it. When it's all done and set up..it'll tell you to restart and what not. When all that's done, scan with hijackthis and post a new log. Thanks.
