Hi sportspeddler1 ;) mad man at work

Welcome to geekstogo!

You HJT.log Is clean from running malware on your system.

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

You are running an out-of-date version of HijackThis; can you please download a new copy (there is a link in my signature), unzip it, and replace your existing copy with the new version.

You have not wasted my time or your time for that matter all you are getting is left over bits off spyware on your system, the main part off the programs have been removed

C:\WINDOWS\system32\P2P Networking<--Delete this file

Due to the large amout off malware file that have been removed from you system Panda will find bits off dead files just remove them when found, try this run with your system for two days then post a new HJT.log, that will also let you cool off a bit to. ;)

Hi sportspeddler1

Your system is still clean ;)

Just do a registry search for this Altnet

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe into the new folder

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:
R1 -HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

The following items have been disabled, it my be best to uninstall avast. Then reinstall avast

O23 - Service: avast! Mail Scanner - Unknown owner -C:\avast\ashMaiSv.exe" /service (file missing)
O23 - Service: avast! Web Scanner - Unknown owner -C:\avast\ashWebSv.exe" /service (file missing)

Take two tables twice a day and post a new HJT.log ;)

Search through registry but did not find any reference to altnet.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Avast. Here is my new HJT Log.

Believe it or not my Panda Scan found NO spyware!!!!!!!!! I am so :tazz:

It seems that Altnet got re-installed with this last round of garbage and when I ran spybot and got rid of Altnet again, it must have gotten rid of whatever leftover files I had that I could not figure out how to get rid of before! ;)

Anyhow, All seems to be well again!!!

Thanks again thatman!!!

Hopefully my HJT log still is clean!
