Whats the time range to format a 250 gig HD and install XP? I'm sitting at about 1hour 20 minutes right now..

Depends on the drive and the computer, decent computer and a sata hard drive it can be under half an hour. But it will be done when its done.

For IDE hard drives, it can take upwards of 1 minute per gigabyte. So in your case it could take as long as 250 minutes (6 hours 10 minutes). As long as the percentage number keeps increasing you are fine, just be patient and it will eventually finish. :whistling:
