I have a very unusual problem that I cannot seem to fix...

every time a popup pops up, my popup blocker won't block it. Instead, microsoft word starts trying to 'install' if I allow it to complete the process, an error comes up telling me that I do not have the disk in the disk drive.

This is not on account of spyware/viruses/adware, I have scanned my system several times, and there are no other problems. This has been happening ever since I installed a Microsoft Wrod version I borrowed from a local highshool,

I would be eternally greatful to anyone to could help me....It is rather irksome ^^;;
