Ok I'd just like to start off by saying you guys are incredible. I'm a mere 20 years of age, a student at Providence College, and feel as though I've come to the right place. My two brothers, both in high school, share a computer that is loaded with problems. The Dr. Watson PostMortem debugging issue has gotten so out of hand, I can click but a few icons on their desktop and have success opening them. I followed verbatim your steps prior to running Hijack this and here is my Hijackthis log. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as I'd like to try and fix their computer before I return back to school from spring break.

Do they have AdAware and/or Spybot S & D? Both of these have free versions that can be used to remove adware and spyware. I see indications in the HJT log of a few. Try those programs and we can go from there. :tazz:

Links to get AdAware and Spybot S & D ...

http://www.lavasoft.com/ (On the left hand side, go to "Resources" then click Download for the free version.)

http://www.spybot.in...load/index.html

Again, after you have downloaded and installed the free versions, make sure you do the update for the definitions, etc. before running the programs. Run them separately, not simultaneously.

Websearch, WinTools, WToolsA and TBPS are all spyware and will cause problems on their computer.

Please post another HJT log after running AdAware and Spybot S & D.
