I'm having issues being able to download/recieve my messages thru my outlook program.I'm getting the window that pop's up asking if i want to send an error report halfwat thru and if i click either "send report' or "dont send report" it closes the program. Also my message's look as if they are in some sort of long coded language(not a forien one).I dont know if it was by a coincidence but the problems seemed to occur after I downloaded 4 new security updates from microsoft.

Click start, add / remove, tick show updates and check for KB908531

Uninstall this if present

Open Word, click help then detect and repair, tick restore shortcuts

Reboot

I was able to preform the first part but when i went o the help tab in the word doc and attempted that it asked"install microsoft office 2000 sr-1 professional disk.I attempt to launch my office program from my desktop I get a installer that pops up and it asks me for the setup info/product key.I also get an error message"this application failed to start beacuse MSMAPI32.dll was not found".Now I can go to the start button and launch it there I'm getting the window that pop's up asking if i want to send an error report halfwat thru and if i click either "send report' or "dont send report" it closes the program. Also my message's look as if they are in some sort of long coded language(not a forien one).I dont know if it was by a coincidence but the problems seemed to occur after I downloaded 4 new security updates from microsoft. This is what an exampleof a mail looks like
