Changing the install to complete, run all from the computer and leaving the installation files would be advantageous because any files needed for repairs or anything else would be there

How difficult is not easy?

The Office CD's

If you can put all the files and leave the installation files on, repairing this now and in the future will be much easier

Did you open Word, click help then detect and repair, tick restore shortcuts yet?

If you click help then detect and repair, the next box will have an option for restore shortcuts, tick that, it should then look for missing files, it will confirm what it did, Office set up completed successfully etc

Run that first and let me know the outcome

Run it again, it will either move on from that or will ask for the Office CD, leave it until it decides

Does the comapny you work with have an IT Department, and would they do a complete install of Office for you, leaving the installation files on?
