Here's a puzzler: I was working on a document in Microsoft Word 2000 (Windows XP), and I needed to condense the font a bit to fit everything on one line. As I always do, I highlighted the text I wanted to condense, and clicked on "format." I saw the word "font" appear as it always has on the popup menu, but it disappeared immediately, and I can't get it back. Rebooting, etc., does not help.

I need to condense font often. Any suggestions?
